I was just getting ready to go to turn of my computer and go to sleep when I discovered Incubus. Not only is it entirely in Esperanto, but it’s a horror film starring William Shatner.

To be really honest, I actually did (and still kind of do) feel the same way about Esperanto (the grotesque bit, that is). I also acknowledge that it’s a rather irrational psychological response. Granted, it’s not pretty like French, but I’ve decided to pick it up anyway. I applaud the spirit behind it. And it’s a rather appealing notion, don’t you think, to be able to understand a language that only less than 2 million people in the world fluently speak?
